Understanding that simultaneous time may be a possibility, there’s more reasons to work with the past in order to have a better “now!”
Sure, we’re told that living in the present is a must. Using mindfulness techniques, we can seize the moment and make the most of it.
Where that may be so, there is benefit to recalling past memories as a way to add potency to living in the “now.”
We live in a society that is predicated on reaction, particularly to present circumstances that we encounter at any given moment. What gets lost in the shuffle is the fine art of reflection; taking a valuable time out to sit in solitude, even for just a few moments, and recall memories from a purview (the present) that may yield greater understanding about what happened in the past (be it positive OR negative), in order to infuse your new perspective into the present.
In this episode of Conscious Commentary, we discuss this idea further…
but with a twist…
What if all time – past, present, and future are happening simultaneously? Would that cause you to re-evaluate how you live your life?
Let’s explore!
