We aren’t meant to run away from our demons; we’re meant to face them head-on so we can eventually excel at the challenges they present.
Sometimes, they’ll present us with more challenges than we feel like we can handle at first, but with patience, perseverance and the willingness not to ignore them or anything that holds us back, facing them will be easier than we expect.
Until we face them, they’ll continue to put obstacles in our way that’ll be harder and harder to get over. The trick is that instead of getting over every hurdle our demons throw our way, we can face the demons themselves, thereby healing any issue they’re responsible for.
Most of our demons just need some exposure and attention, and giving them our attention is the first step to finally healing them. The first step is often the hardest to take, but things get easier after we take it.
Things generally get easier when we face challenges instead of running away from them, and while there’ll always be challenge, life will seem to flow more smoothly when we no longer have any major obstacles (or personal demons to feed them) in our way.
Will you face your demons today?
Stay aware!
