How could a society ever get to this point? It’s unfathomable—like something out of a nightmare, isn’t it? But it’s real. This is the new reality in all its ugliness.  Police now get paid to act like animals, and that’s apparently okay with them. They willingly accept a paycheque for dropping to the depths of depravity.   ~ BP

Federal Cops Rip American Flag From Veteran’s Hands During DC Protest

by  • October 14, 2013

The weekend played host to an impressive protest in Washington DC. Veterans and supporters took down the barricades surrounding the WWII memorial and placed them in front of the White House in protest of the Obama administration arbitrarily walling of memorials.

The administration had the gates replaced this morning.

The open air memorials of Washington have no staff, gates or operational costs. Regardless, the administration claims that it is necessary to close such memorials due to the government shutdown.

The event escalated when federal riot police arrived at the peaceful protest.

In the video you will see the federal police attempting to rip an American flag away from a veteran. Why these federal cops felt compelled to rip away an American flag from a man who risked his life to secure America’s freedom is perplexing at best.

  1. The officer, who was working without pay by the way, was taking the flag which was being used as a weapon. Obama did NOT put those barriers up, the congress did. If the police got a little testy, well I would too if an old man was coming after me hurling insults. It was not his fault. My family are all hero veterans, wounded etc. I do not appreciate this being used as an act for sympathy, they don’t need any.
