I wanted to make a quick note about falling away from spiritual labels in the name of neutrality and harmony amongst us all.
A few different writers in the spiritual circles have written pieces about embracing no label or surface-based idea about ourselves, and to embrace solely the fact that we’re united awakening souls who can, together, bring about great change on this planet.
Some have put forth the idea that awakening souls are technically all we are in this moment.
I do agree with the idea being presented, and I endorse not looking toward ourselves in vain or surface-oriented ways. I should say that I don’t necessarily endorse scrapping the idea of ourselves as Lightworkers entirely, however, or fooling ourselves about our true power and ability.
Granted, it’s safe to say that there are some who label themselves a Lightworker without understanding the deeper and very real work involved with it, and the “mainstream spiritual” perception of the Lightworker camp and just what a Lightworker or Lightwork is has perhaps been muddied into general or even vain territory.
That I certainly understand, but in my opinion, it’s not quite enough of a reason for actual Lightwork done by individuals who’ve genuinely stepped into the role of performing this energy work for the Earth’s ascension to be chastised or suddenly have its genuine nature misunderstood.
In my book, there are millions of active Lightworkers on this planet – helping to anchor an incredible amount of higher-dimensional energy; holding the space for the rest of the world to ascend; utilizing the etheric realms to bless various people and lower energy; and transmuting the massive lower energy that has and continues to be fed by the collective.
There are such things as real Lightwork and genuine Lightworkers, and I think that to embrace the work one’s performed with an outward label that describes such work, rather than simply act under the label because one’s awakened and has heard it a lot, is what sets Lightworkers who’ve put in the effort apart.
My aim certainly isn’t to feed into dualistic thinking here, but I don’t believe we should grow into chastising or taking our collective perception away from Lightwork or energy work as a whole just because of the widespread and perhaps misunderstood term “Lightworker”.
In a time when we’re learning to come together and embrace the ideals and beliefs of every unique facet of our awakening collective, it’s important to remember the meanings of things we’ve grown so used to that we may be more comfortable growing out of instead.
I don’t seek to convince you of my feelings about Lightwork or Lightworkers, but I did want to make a note about the difference between the label being used in a general or hollow sense and a real, descriptive sense. Lightwork is being performed every day on this world, and if you don’t choose to believe in this idea than I have no desire to try to convince you of its reality.
I’m simply reporting what I’ve come to feel and know within, and I feel it’d be a shame for the Lightwork being done to go unrecognized because of the growing and certainly understandable desire for neutrality amongst the awakening public, which I aim to contribute to.

Thank you Wes. I respect and honor your position, and as always respect the work you do. I as a healer, a Reiki Master, who specializes in the Transition Care of those crossing over, is in a constant peace in holding the Light and sharing my Light, to assist their journey, in comfort. There are so many of our brothers and sisters that are assisting humanity’s ascension. Lightworkers are necessary and we walk in so many different shoes. It is important, in my view, to not commit to placing a set label on ourselves though. We will always be Lightworkers, but our modalities in which we serve can often change. I promote that it is a beautiful choice in expansion. But Lightworkers we will always be! Thank you and have a beautiful awesome day. Blessings always abundant ♥

I totally agree. Lightwork is an action, of transmuting energy, physically through yourself, or visualizations and blessings. I’m not sure what dark working is, but I imagine, it’s using energy of fear anger and hatred, to create more of the same. it seems the terms Lightworker and dark worker have been used to designate weather one is inherently good or bad. This is silly, because of course we all have a full range of emotions and perspectives. However, my whole reason for being on earth is to perform light work, and I proudly proclaim this as my job description. Although eventally, our entire population will be working together, I look forward to spreading light and love around the world and universe, together with everyone else who has the same intentions.

Thank you, Wes. I agree that the work is more important than what we call it. For me dark has always been so much more than negative as I have written about before the current discussion began. Dark is not only the negatives so often attributed to it in colonized culture. It is also the dark of the womb from which we joyously enter incarnation. It is the dark fertile soil from which so much life and beauty come. Darkwork is not doing evil but working with the deep levels, the rich and wild mythic dimensions out of which all that is arises.
Chaos is the Mother nit something to be feared or conquered. I guess because I have always lived deeply rooted in thise things and the often difficult work they require of us, the term lightworker always felt restrictive to me even tho people around me consider it an accurate descriptor for me;-).
If someone feels that lightwork alone is their calling tho I do not feel this is a lack on their part. Duality is not evil either but only one facet of this jewel of infinity that is the One Dancing with itself. Love is thr important part not semantics or all doing or feeling the same, imho.

Maybe some redefinition would be helpful. We are anchoring higher frequencies on the planet and raising or lightening the vibration available to us here; however that energy is not always literally ‘light’ as we know it. It is just different frequency levels,
Whatever form they take. Night and day are happening within the same basic frequency level that the whole earth is contained within, whether it is dark or light outside the window.
The cabal has programmed us to be afraid of the ‘dark’ or the ‘darkness’ and they have abused the creative use of it for their own control and power while punishing the rest of us for attempting to shape the raw material of creation into uplifting and inspiring manifestations that promote true progress and growth on all levels, spiritual, mental, emotional and physical/material.
The dark matter of the void is the raw material of creation that has not yet been shaped into synchronized patterns of ‘visible’ manifestation. This is a link to a very interesting article that I posted on my blog about a merging this man had with his soul and the insights he gained about the true nature of darkness. He is a healer through whom the Elohim work to heal people. http://elohimchanneling.wordpress.com/2013/07/24/meeting-my-soul/

Here’s some related thoughts, about the idea in general that words can only go so far. For me it’s helpful to remember not to get stuck on the labels, and this is true for all kinds of words, not just “lightworker.” Great post, Wes.

Oh, and about darkness…..here’s one way of looking at it. If we think about the contrast, rather than dark vs. light, we are less likely to be continuing in duality thinking. FYI my personal role/challenge/task is all about putting these concepts into words (LOL) that are simplified and hopefully as a result more understandable to those who are trying to figure it all out. 🙂 You will also find it obvious that I come from a Christian background, so I tend to include that perspective. (most of my hits are from google searches)

Hi Wes, Off subject, thanks for putting your self out there for us who rely on all your hard work for the reminders we need. If you take requests, could you please invite, in your next channel session, some insight about our children, how do we guide them during these times of huge changes that they can feel strongly but is yet unseen, please? Thank you for everything.
