I have to say I completely agree with what is said here by the Council of Twelve. Learning not to engage myself too deeply with the mainstream media was and is a difficult lesson to learn, as there is always that one smidgen of hope that a real story might get out. I would say that moderate and detatched interaction with the mainstream media is the best way to go. Unfortunately, largely anonymous internet comment sections and forums can be some low vibratonal places.
I read the Occupy Wall Street report on CNN.com and was dismayed by the quality of the reporting, which was, frankly, crap. The comment section was full of hate and negativity. So I asked the Council of Twelve for encouragement/commentary, and this was our conversation (My words in brackets):
[Hi, Council. Me again.] Hello, Ann, dear. What is on your mind? [I’m disturbed by the negativity in the general population. On Facebook, I interact with mostly positive people. If I look at comment sections on say, CNN, which is doing a bad job of reporting the protests, I get bummed by all the weird, misinformed and hateful comments. Your comments and advice would be most appreciated.]
We see the overall condition of humanity and the planet herself, and we can assure you that the light grows every day. You would do well to eschew the mainstream media altogether. It largely purveys darkness. Not healthy for man nor beast! Stay with your friends of light. They’ll keep you afloat. Don’t allow yourself to succumb to the illusion of divisiveness. We are one! Salamat jarin! [Thank you!] You are so very welcome. We want you to be happy and enjoy your life.

…Ah Yes!!…that Little Trickster T.V….in the Homes of So Many…This Year,tho, I became DisEnchanted to It’s Loudish Voice…Sometimes,i turn it on (Use it) only late in the Day…My Favorite Channel is a Community Board Messages with a Commercial-Free Galaxy Pop Music that Plays Just the Right Frequency for me and my Plants,that are near the T.V….The Television “May/Will” come in Handy in da Future, when Major Important Announcements are Made…the Remote is not so “Remote” afterall…It has EmPowering “Duties” that Serve and it is Handsomely Paid for…p.s.,i Surround my television with Amazonite stones, the Best in Shielding me from the E.M.F.’s that the Little Trickster Televisions have a Very Bad Habit of Emitting…hehehe…;)

I recently threw away my old television. In my younger years, I never watched anyway. Now my environment is static-free. Like you, I would only put it on at night, but now I pay more attention to my meditation and my life. T.V. is a bad habit, like smoking or over-eating — it pushed down our true emotions and fills our homes with toxicity. Yes, I did want one for when the grand announcements are made; but honestly, I am okay with it, I have the internet, good enough.

May I ask a question babjij? I too use the TV sparingly..waiting as you are. Will the Amazonite work for wireless EMFs from the router and whatever else I have going in The Can Iive in? Do I put them all around, on or ?
