It’s bear vs. black bear in part 1 of the New Game+ mode for God of War: Ragnarok. I would love for you to join me on this journey through one of the best games ever made.

I’ve been experimenting with making video game content, as evidenced by the Red Dead Redemption blog series I was working on…but I never had the courage to record a let’s play & speak on video. Even with those short fitness videos I make, I’m always nervous to record my voice. Plus, I never thought it was appropriate to record gameplay because most of you are used to a certain kind of content from me, and it has nothing to do with gaming.

BUT… As I’ve been exercising a lot, coming out of my shell around friends and family, and becoming more comfortable speaking on video; I’ve realized I should make content around all of the things I’m passionate about. Gaming (or rather, playing games that stand out to me) is one of my passions.

There were some quality issues with this first recording – I’m using an old Blue Snowball mic and I had it sitting too far away from me, so you can hear my button-mashing during combat. In subsequent videos I’ve recorded but not yet posted, I’ve mostly fixed that problem by keeping the mic closer to me and further from the controller 🎮.
