When Our Hearts Are Full

A poem by Nigel David Richey, Contributor, Culture of Awareness

What dreams may come when our hearts are full,
What adventures lie in wait for our souls to be bold,
I once heard a tale of a girl lost in snow,
Yet warm as ever she could wistand any cold,
Shimmering with wonder she had the sight to see magic,
Even amongst the sorrow and all things that seemed tragic,
In fact, if you ask her what makes her eyes sparkle with light,
She’d probably reply with
“Being able to make things bright” 🙂
Cause you see she was a miracle to this world rediscovered,
Her only crime was forgetting the passion she spread from one to another,
Deep within her essence lied the secrets of life’s nature ,
Deep within her presence she touched every one she encountered,
She had something special you see, a wondrous sound not seen with the eyes,
An elegant way of portraying mastery,
The mystery abound that cut through all secrets and lies,
The connection found between love, loss, and ties.
My dear have no fear when it comes to feeling alive, every choice you make carries a lovely surprise,
Your own personal sunrise if you care to go beyond why,
You create the joy of your creation everytime you allow yourself the freedom to cry ~
