Unified Collective Will

There’s no such thing as “society.” Well, there’s no such thing as any of us either, really.

None of this exists or is real when viewed from the standpoint of the Absolute.

We are real on the dimension on which our intelligence is operating. But, even so, “society” is not real there either in the same way that we are.

“Society” is an idea we share. We know what each other means by it. And we bestow reality on it. We make believe and make it real for us.

Whenever I think of a “social” breakthrough in generating collective will or working with “society,” something in me falters.

I can’t get my head around what a social breakthrough would look like or how one would work with society. (And here I once trained to be a Sociologist.)

If we’re to build collective will again, after so many centuries of oppression, we have to do it, it seems to me, by working with individuals.

Seeing that has me stay my hand from throwing out everything I ever knew because it was all oriented toward individuals, not society. But now I see that what we’re looking for, when we look for a “social” breakthrough, is really the generation of will in many individuals.

That means our work for the foreseeable future will be very much personal, rather than impersonal; very much “in the field” rather than in theoretical domains, it seems to me.

That having been said, it’s time for individual freedom anyways. The individual has been totally quashed by former management. Time to open the prison doors and let the prisoners out.

Shaking loose from our conceptual boxes is part of winning that back. I don’t see “society” any more. I only see a sea of individuals.

What motivates me to push ahead in this or any arena? I guess it’s that I see a vision, in my mind’s eye, of a congress of lightworkers and I’m there as a delegate. We’re all there to decide how to use our combined financial resources to end world hunger. Or poverty. Or inequality.

Walking into the conference hall for the first time, would I take a deep breath and feel oh so satisfied? Would I want to let out a yell? Or would I want to turn to my neighbor and say, “I knew it!”

Something deep down would be satisfied seeing world leaders in finance, well endowed, sitting down together to map out how to end world hunger, now.

And I’d be chuckling to myself because I’d have the certain conviction that our aggregated income was just the first installment of an endless flow of abundance. (1)

How often have we heard of saving the world? And when did we ever think that our generation (with the aid of many other beings and civilizations) would do it?

We can do it. We are doing it.

We can turn this world around. We can accomplish all we and our forebears in this work wished for – a world that works.

All we need is unified collective will, in the service of the Mother and under the guidance of the Company of Heaven. For the rest, I believe that those who are with us are far stronger than those who are against us.
