Lame Spiritual Poetry: Radiant Late Night Full Moon

A poem by Wes Annac, Culture of Awareness

Lame Spiritual Poetry is a poetry segment I’ll occasionally use to share my attempts at rhyming words with a spiritual theme.

Most if not all of these poems will probably be used as lyrics in my music one day, but I figured I’d share them now for those of you who would hopefully enjoy them. This one was written during the recent full moon:

Radiant late night full moon energy

Awakening light shining within, with one eye I see

Ancient mystic truths corrupted, theft, villainy

Perversion of power leaves nothing for you or me

Starved of the spirit permeating the ancient

Alarmed, we can feel it, exterminating what’s sacred

From the start we were heroes, we know we can save it

Through art, love, good cheer, open our hearts, we can take it

Share with all who’ve been starved, who feel alienated

Let them know they are loved, why in the first place were they hated?

Those in power with agendas and golden towers pitted against us

Consensus sour now they condense us down and ‘cleanse’ us

The reason for the hate and the struggle in the world

Is the same reason you hate and struggle, you’re just moving toward

The same rejection of love in a lighter way you can’t perceive of

Healing comes when you believe in a higher power now receive one

The elite can’t get away with crimes against nature, no they

No longer hold influence, sway, in a conscious world we won’t obey

No longer listen to them, hey, why were we brainwashed yesterday?

The same old story, no don’t warn me, nothing bad will come our way

Love is real and we can feel the safety it provides each day

No need to steal, only to heal, once you feel enlightened come and stay
