Hemp has over 50, 000 uses.
Everything from clothes, medicine, fabrics, fuel and more, hemp is definitely a large threat to a variety of corporations that control energy, health and a number of other industries. Many corporations would see a decline in profit if industrial hemp became legal to grow, en masse and without regulation.
Current US Hemp Law
AGRICULTURAL ACT OF 2014 – President Obama signed the Agricultural Act of 2014 on February 7, 2014 including Section 7606 known as “Legitimacy of Industrial Hemp Research.” Section 7606 defines industrial hemp (.3% or less THC) & authorizes institutions of higher education or state department’s of agriculture in states that legalized hemp cultivation to conduct research and pilot programs.
Hemp Provision Added to the Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2016 – New language that protects the transportation, processing and sale of hemp from Farm Bill compliant pilot programs.SEC. 763. None of the funds made available by this Act or any other Act may be used-
(1) in contravention of section 7606 of the Agricultural Act of 2014 (7 U.S.C. 5940); or
(2) to prohibit the transportation, processing, sale, or use of industrial hemp that is grown or cultivated in accordance with subsection section 7606 of the Agricultural Act of 2014, within or outside the State in which the industrial hemp is grown or cultivated.
The World Most Eco- Friendly Car
The Kestrel is designed Calgary-based Motive Industries INC, in Canada. Unlike the United States, the Canadian government is open to hemp farming and is actively supporting the industrial hemp industry.
The Kestrel has a top speed of 90 km per hour and a range of approximately 100 miles before needing to be recharged. It is difficult to ignore the sheer environmental impact of this modern car.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a hemp car
Did you know Henry Ford’s Model T car, designed in the 1940′s, was completely made from hemp? This car was 10 times stronger than steel and was also designed to run off of hemp bio-fuel!
Whatever Happened to This Idea?
The suppression of this technology is largely due to the fact that hemp was outlawed in the US in 1937 due to the potential damaging effect it would have on many powerful industries at the time.
The Industrial Revolution was a financial paradigm shift for the United States. Decisions were made by visionaries of our current federal reserves and corporate leaderships. These decisions designed industries that created products intended to be non-renewable and non-sustainable. The is called Planned Obsolescence.
Why would a company intentionally make a piece of crap? Watch this video…
How Hemp Became Illegal
During Hoover’s presidency, Andrew Mellon became Hoover’s Secretary of the Treasury and Dupont’s primary investor. He appointed his future nephew-in-law, Harry J. Anslinger, to head the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. Secret meetings were held by these financial tycoons. Hemp was declared dangerous and a threat to their billion dollar enterprises. For their dynasties to remain intact, hemp had to go.
The Controlled Substances Act of 1970 classified all forms of cannabis — including hemp — as a Schedule I drug, making it illegal to grow it in the United States (which is why we’re forced to import hemp from other countries as long as it contains scant levels of THC — 0.3%)
It’s time to reinstate methods and technologies that are more harmonious with the planet
The Kestrel’s hemp composite body shell passed its crash test in strong form, unlike steel, and the panels bounce back into shape after impact. Hemp also has the same mechanical properties as glass. It is even lighter than glass and these properties help boost fuel efficiency.
But, like the old Model T car, the Kestrel car is having to fight financial and economic systems for the right to be present on the automobile market.
Hemp is an unlimited, forever lasting resource. For that reason alone it is a threat to our current financial and economic systems. It seems the systems we have in place are used to justify why products like this cannot be mass marketed and mass distributed. …It’s time for a change.
