How Negative Energy Affects Your Life and How to Clear It

Murphy’s LAW: Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong.

Universal LAW: What you think about you create.  (or in other words.. whatever we put our focus on most, THAT is what will draw our focus as we move through our choices in life)

Big difference between thoughts.  Murphy’s Law holds us captive as a victim to our experience. The Universal Law gives us freedom to create anything.

Ill have a big slice of the second one, please!

And why wouldn’t any of us? Well… there is a secret here, hidden… like a riddle in-between these two Laws.  The reality is…

When we see the world through Murphy’s glasses of expected turmoil… The Universal law still remains true.  “Whatever you think about, you create”.

Irony, .. right?

This is so awesome! And it’s so time consuming; to realize that …in every moment, you are the sole provider of authentic thought with a spin of desire for a positive outcome for each moment you’re experiencing.

The great news here is that each experience is for the benefit of better and better experiences.  And we all love having awesome experiences!

And so… we can create what I like to call a toolkit for clearing up ego-based Murphy’s vision of expected turmoil.   And our toolkit will also help us recondition our thoughts back to the one reality… which is, “whatever we think about we create.”

Take this quiz to see your negative energy

  • Do you complain? Do you sigh all the time – you know the feeling.  (damn world) …. if so, All the time or just sometimes?
  • Do you often discuss what’s wrong in the world more than what’s right? This includes the ‘terrible’ weather, ‘horrible’ traffic, ‘idiotic’ government, ‘lousy’ economy, ‘stupid’ in-laws, etc. That’s right… the world sucks, and you’re looking to make sure everyone knows it.
  • Do you criticize? All the time or just certain people? Does it feel better to feel better than others?  Do you take your truth to the point of pain to fix other people around you?
  • Are you attracted to drama and disaster (can you unglue yourself from the TV when there’s a news story of a disaster and can you avoid getting involved in the lives of dysfunctional celebrities?) Feel intrigued by doom and gloom, and seeing who did what to whom?
  • Do you blame? All the time or just certain situations?
  • Do you believe that you have no control over most of your results?
  • Do you feel like a victim? Do you talk about people doing things you want to do and feel jealous?
  • Will you be grateful when things finally start going right for you?

We’ve all been there sometime… negativity is a great teacher and worthy of exploring our cynical side to shed light on where we lost our abundant, trusting, loving side.

BECAUSE MOMENTS REPEAT AND REPEAT AND REPEAT… AND REPEAT

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you are holding on to negative energy to some degree!

Clearing negative energy takes changing our focus to see the positive outcome.

Like… damn! Just lost my job!

… Negative: loose the house, spouse will leave, can’t buy that new car… can’t can’t can’t .  A bunch of limiting thoughts.

… Positive: there were things about that job’s location that wasn’t working, the job was limiting me.  The next job is going to be even better!

… Negative: It’s been 3 weeks now, I haven’t found a job! What am I going to tell my landlord?  What is wrong with me? (fear is creeping in here, we all know the feeling)

…Positive: There is a fantastic job out there … I just need to go find it.  What haven’t I done yet, that I haven’t ever thought about before, that I can do… now.

… action:  Pull up the word “resume” on youtube. (haven’t done that before!) Oooo… Look! Video resumes! I don’t know where this will lead me… but it feels good to do it!

It’s actually when we fly blind into what is the next most logical step in our own evolution… that we grow wings to soar above our natural tendencies and break the pattern of beliefs.

Letting go of negative patterns.

To clear negative energy, try this 3 -step process:

1. Take ownership:

“When you think everything is someone else’s fault, you will suffer a lot. When you realize that everything springs only from yourself, you will learn both peace and joy.” – the Dalai Lama

Tool # 1… realize, everything comes back to the universal law.  “We Create Our Own Reality”

Yes, no matter what, we will always have the opportunity to grow in direct response to the conditions we have experienced.  The biggest healers and wisest people have been birthed from the funeral pyres of the Phoenix.

2. Cancel negative thoughts and replace them with positive thoughts.

Making a decision to see the world through the eyes of “what can go right” instead of “what can go wrong” …you’ll have to catch yourself anytime you are acting or speaking negatively.  You’ll know it because you’ll feel miserable and getting worse.

Look for something that feels better to think about… and keep working on feeling better and better feeling thoughts.

This takes practice, and practice… and keep-going motivation.  Some of those negative thoughts have deep roots.

If you want help breaking some of those patterns, I have a fantastic book on my shelf that I give out quite regularly to people who come to my home to chat and feel better.  The book is called “Feelings Buried Alive, Never Die” By Karol Truman.    Feelings Buried Alive Never Die

Tool #2… Karol tells you exactly how to locate negative thought, how to mentally release it, see how negative thought affects your body, and gives natural positive feeling thoughts that counter act the negative pattern.

…the cells memory of perfection contained in the DNA cannot be lost…it is only covered over – Deepak Chopra

Tool #3… The Script

Karol Uses a Script to “talk to your cells” and invite them to participate with you in the release of old harmonic resonances stored in our memories that are contrary to our natural DNA.

The premise of the script is that when we are completely clear (perhaps at the beginning of life) we see the world through a crystal clear lens. Then as we experience life, our incorrect perceptions and unconscious memories color or cloud the lens, and we are no longer seeing the world through the eyes of our true self.

3. Breathe

The first way inward is through the breath.  Fear makes us breathe shallow unfulfilling breaths that reach only as deep as our upper chest, which keep us feeling stressed out.  And… long deep breaths are almost impossible when we are stressed out.  So… the best time to practice breathing is when we first wake up.

Tool #4… Breathing

Before  your feet touch the floor or you open your eyes, take 20 seconds to 2 minutes to breathe and think about nothing but just enjoying the delicious feeling of air in your lungs, the comfortable feeling of your bed, the pleasure of being still.

If you find your mind wandering to some random negative thought… just acknowledge you thought it.. and move back to experiencing your breathing.

It’s really worth it to increase it to 20 minutes at both bedtime and when you wake up.  … that realization comes to us all over time, and is a natural progression.

Use Your Toolkit,… Often!

What’s going to happen then? Your positive energy will magnetically attract what you consider to be good and right for you: people, situations, things start flowing. You’ll notice a huge, huge increase in your happiness and inner peace.

Bonus! Tool #5 … Imagination is Manifestation

Give yourself 17 seconds of thought, imagining a feeling of “being”, in other words, of “feeling” the way you will feel if what you desire is already happening, … that will create a powerful wave of emotion, which draws a powerful focus, and inspires your brain to recognize opportunities in your future, where you can step onto the path, that brings opportunities for you to choose experiences, that create your desire.
… and if you can maintain the thought for 67 seconds…. even better!
