It was a beautiful sky tonight filled with colors and clouds that stirred my heart and soothed my soul. I paused and took it in… knowing despite its perfection that it would change and the colors would fade away into darkness.

That’s the thing with the sky… and with life, it’s always moving, changing. Life’s colors are always changing their hue depending on the time and the season we are living in. We can be comforted in some moments, in awe within another… yet no matter what… whether we are cherishing or loathing it’s shade… it will always change again.
For now I will take in this sky, this precious moment that will never be again and be grateful for the many beautiful dawns and sunsets I have enjoyed, knowing in my heart that there will always be more of these and their colors of beauty until we reach the Perfect Sky where we will be with our loved ones once again.
