Since I used to be a ‘channeler’ and I still publish other people’s channelings to the blog, I thought I’d take this opportunity to give my perspective on the concept.
Some people don’t like channeled messages because of the flaws that are apparent in some of them, but I don’t think the tainted messages that are out there have to speak for all of them.
I’m not as passionate about channeling as I once was, but I think they have potential to help us fashion the inner connections so many channelers either have or claim to have.
I’m not saying reading channeled messages will help us connect with an archangel or an extraterrestrial, but if we read messages that encourage us to learn, grow and question ourselves and our reality, they could prove helpful in the end. Not only that – they could help us connect with our inner voice and eventually align with the Christ within.
We don’t have to believe the messages are who they’re claimed to be from to benefit from the guidance genuine channelings contain, and even if some channelers found out they were speaking with their inner voice all along (instead of a guide, angel, ET, etc.), the connection they maintained and the guidance that resulted was still helpful.
I honestly think channeling is a catalyst that’s meant to get us to empower ourselves and connect with our intuition, and I’m sure a lot of channelers can attest that this is exactly what they’ve been led to do.
We need to use our discernment with channelings so we aren’t drawn in by potential false prophets, but it’s safe to say that most channelers are genuine in their intent and they really believe they’re communicating with the sources they claim to.
I’m open to the idea that we can communicate with our guides in the higher dimensions, and whoever’s actually responsible for the genuinely helpful channelings out there is doing a great job. In all things, our perspective and what we choose to believe will determine our experience of reality.
Will you accept the guidance that’s offered today, in whatever form it takes?
Stay aware!
