Even though there’s a lot to say (and a lot to write about), we’ll sometimes reach a point where we don’t have much to say at all. This is okay, and taking a break from our hard work can be necessary at times so we can restore ourselves and replenish our creative/expressive abilities.
There’s so much to discuss in this emerging new world, but we don’t want to strive so hard to talk about it all that we burn ourselves out.
We have to be easy with ourselves if we want to contribute with any degree of sincerity, and if we work too hard, we might actually stop ourselves from shining our light on things that need discussed in the long run.
Even though there’s value in constant work, I don’t think we’re meant to spend all our time working or talking about the issues that need discussed. I think we should employ a healthy balance between working, enjoying ourselves and relaxing, and as we’re learning, balance is key in all things.
When we can balance our work with our play and rest, contributing will become easier because we won’t push ourselves like we once did. Pushing ourselves can be healthy, but like anything else, it becomes abusive if we take it too far.
Will you balance out your work and fun today?
Stay aware!
