Use the weekend to relax; to enjoy yourself and spend time with the people you love. There’s nothing wrong with taking a day to celebrate our accomplishments and kick back, maybe even treating ourselves a little without becoming too indulgent.
I think the best way to treat ourselves is to relax into a good meditation, which we can do at any time if we’re willing to put a little work in. Meditation’s difficult for some people at first, but once you can find a good, strong meditative flow, you probably won’t want to stop.
Meditation isn’t all we can do to reward ourselves for our hard work, and we’ll all find different things that help us unwind at the end of a long week. Even those of us who are passionate about constantly serving others can take a few moments every now and then to show ourselves some love, and serving others will be a breeze when we can love ourselves.
