Wisdom With Wes: Give Thanks on Thanksgiving

However cliché today’s post might sound, let’s use this holiday to give thanks for everything around us. Everything in life – even the things we don’t appreciate – is not only necessary, but is a direct gift from Source.

We can reach out and accept the gifts we’re given each day if we’re open and inspired enough, and it’s been said that gratitude opens up a path for us to receive more things to be grateful for.

This life is nothing less than a blessing, but some people have convinced themselves it’s a curse.

Some people think life is little more than a burden that they have to push through as they wait, wait and wait for something better, but we can only make our lives better when we start to appreciate how great they already are.

You might not feel like your life’s so great sometimes, but even the most miserable people will experience at least one thing in life that makes them smile and maybe even leaves them thankful. However stereotypical being thankful on Thanksgiving might sound, I think it’s one of the best ways to show the universe that we appreciate our lives.

A lot of terrible things are happening in the world every day, but they can only bring us down or keep us from being thankful if we let them. We’re our greatest heroes and our own worst enemies, so let’s keep this in mind the next time something happens that we could either dread or appreciate.

Life’s a gift, so let’s unwrap it.

Do you choose to be thankful today?

Stay aware!

Wes Annac 🙂
