Our job on this beautiful, evolving planet isn’t necessarily to embrace or denounce any given belief system or spiritual practice – it’s to embody the conscious love we are at our core; at our essence.
This does require living in alignment with certain, higher ideals, and to live properly and purely in love, we will have to go out of our way not to feed certain habit patterns or ways of being that hurt others or keep us from expressing our innate love and the blissful unity …that comes with it.
I’ll admit that I’ve done (and, in some cases continue to do) things that bring me out of alignment with the loving, spiritual Self I want to embody, but when we falter along this path, the best thing we can do is take responsibility, keep our heads held high and continuously embrace the love we’ve come here to express and radiate.
I don’t know about any of you, but I’m tired of living out of alignment. I’m tired of discrediting my own loving spirituality by feeding the beastly ego, and instead of living in the mind with its constant desires and its concerns over how others see me, I’m ready to simply and purely live in love.
This is usually the point where I’d say ‘this is easier said than done’, but I’m done with that limited thinking. Not only do I want to live simply in love, I WILL. No bold proclamations are even necessary to do this – all it takes is the willingness to feed the heart instead of the mind.
The mind, when it’s open, is a very pure instrument for the expression of our spirituality and our creativity, but when it’s closed and connected to the physical body, we deal with all kinds of desires and false needs. No more.
From here on out, I want to embrace simplistic love and the amplified inner perception that comes with it, and when we can all do this, we’ll cease feeding destructive ways of being that hold us back and hurt those around us.
It’s time to liberate ourselves, and only with love and a diminished ego will we do this. Who’s with me?
Stay aware!
