Wes: Most of you have probably heard the song, ‘Get Up Stand Up’, from the Wailers (Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and a few others), but you might not have heard Peter Tosh’s version. Marley and Tosh played together as the Wailers (along with Bunny Wailer) at the beginning of their careers, but they split up after a few years together.

Marley formed his own group, which is famously known as ‘Bob Marley and the Wailers’, and we all know that Tosh pursued a very successful solo career. He rebranded this song as a solo artist, and personally, I think it sounds just as good as the original version. Enjoy!
