This rather spectacular lightship show was seen this week in Mexico and made it onto prime time Mexican TV, who described the fleet as “mysterious lights”.

Coming in from out over the Pacific Ocean, the fleet of glowing orbs was filmed above Lázaro Cárdenas, a port city located on the west coast, north of the tourist hotspot of Acapulco in the southern part of the state of Minoacan

According to the TV report, the fleet was viewed with both “fear and curiosity” by many of the town’s 75,000 locals…
