Pocahontas – A Song by Wes Annac

The following is a Love song, written by me for that special someone.

Lyrics:

Ooh, my desperation on this night to find you

For true Love has enveloped every part of me and it feels new

Betrayal lust and anger all be things of the past

The last glass will be smashed and peace we will grasp

For we, we are complete

We have found something unique

And you, you are so sweet

You and me, we make the perfect team

Let Love and devotion be our creed

For your Love and your healing is all I need

Ooh I can feel your soul in my heart

And you know that you and me were meant to be together

We’ll never part

Pocahontas (x2)

Sensible reality you help bring me to

When I’ve fallen short you stick with me through and through

Your Love, your generosity your compassion and Light

I don’t express enough just how much you’ve saved my Life

So we, we could be complete

Our connected hearts, they could meet

And you, you are so sweet

And me, oh I’m so lucky

Let Love and devotion be our creed

For your Love and your healing is all I need

Ooh I can feel your soul in my heart

And you know that you and me were meant to be together

We’ll never part

Pocahontas (x3)

Let Love and devotion be our creed

For your Love and your healing is all I need

Ooh I can feel your soul in my heart

And you know that you and me were meant to be together

We’ll never part

  1. I really enjoy listening to your music, brother!

Your singing has been getting better and your songs are really starting to flow! But, what really captures my attention is your guitar ability. How long have you been playing for? I started playing last year and can’t seem to put the guitar down, it’s one of my passions! For me, I only listen to music that comes deep from the soul – which is rare to find! I’m pleased to say that you fall into that category!

Hope all is well and keep the music coming, Wes!

    Much Love,

    -Matt

    • Thanks so much, Matt!

I’ve actually been playing since I was about thirteen or fourteen. Being the unawakened teenage lad I was, I got into playing heavier metal-type of music, and didn’t touch or think about an acoustic guitar until I was probably sixteen. From then on, I’ve honed what is a very enjoyable and fulfilling ability.

Many thanks for the compliments! 🙂

      Much Love,

      Wes 🙂
