Final update: Well, it’s over. The bank has accepted one of the other offers instead of ours. If there was more to say I than would be saying it, but this is what has happened. Nobody seemed to be interested in the house until we were but now, someone who will probably only flip it has bought it.

If those of you who have donated wish for a refund, please contact me via email and let us know. It will simply be too much to go through everybody’s donations and send refunds, so we ask anybody who wants a refund to email me personally about it. More or less, we’ve been told that we need to find a new place to live anyway (we’re not getting kicked out yet so don’t worry), so the donations that have been given that don’t get refunded will be going to something else we will hopefully find.

As it stands now, we just don’t know how to feel.

Update @ 6:30 PM: We still have not heard anything back, and it seems as if we are not going to know the bank’s decision today. They originally told us they would make thier decision today, but we will keep you posted as each development occurs.

Update @ 1:37 PM: We have still not heard anything yet, which is strange given that it’s later in the day. We will continue to keep you all posted on developments as they occurr. As it stands, we have no idea when today we will find out the bank’s decision.

Update #8: It is 10:12 AM on Tuesday as I write this, and we have not heard anything yet on whether our offer was accepted. Anticipation and emotions are high this morning, and this update will be dynamic; meaning that I will update it as frequently as possible with any news related to our offer and its possible acceptance. There are apparently two other bidders in the mix, and we’re very much hoping our final offer was enough to be able to get the house. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!

Update #7: We made a slightly higher offer on the house as an absolute final bid, and we will know on Tuesday whether or not our offer has been accepted. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers during this final stretch, as we really need to be able to get out on our own and stop Living with relatives who are equally-ready for us to get out on our own.

Thank you so very dearly, from the bottom of our hearts, for the support you have given and continue to give. You have all helped us more than words could possibly express, and the Love that’s been given with your contributions has been returned tenfold!

Update #6: Proving the rollercoaster ride this endeavor is and has been, the bank seems to be holding out even on the offer we have given after receiving the funds to make such an offer. They again seem not to be rejecting our offer entirely, but have apparently been telling the realtor each time we place a bid (we have placed two now) that other people who are apparently interested in the house have made offers as well, and that our offers are smaller than theirs. 

We wanted to give you all a quick update and let you know where this matter currently stands, and we are weighing our options and considering what we can do in relation to this. We’ve been advised by some to hold-out on our bid and others have suggested we increase it again, though the funds you have all generously passed along, while more appreicated than could be expressed, are limited.  

Despite what seems to be a merry-go-round of offer-making, I am still quite hopeful and confident that this will work out if it is truly meant to. Releasing attachment is key, though I have to admit that the beauty of this house as well as the fact that it seems to be perfect for us are making attachment a bit difficult to release.  

We will always and forever thank each one of you for everything you have been able to do to assist us because as I have said, we would have never even come this close if it were not for your support.  

Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers and if you wish, send the purest of Love and intention our way for our attaining of this house. As it’s quite late here, I’m going to get off to bed! 🙂

Update #5: Because of a few incredibly-appreciated, miraculous and generous contributions and because of one in particular, we now have the funds to make the next offer on the house in hopes and prayers that the bank accepts it. We do feel that if they do not take this offer, than it is not meant to be but we are absolutely praying that they take it (feel free to pray as well, if you wish).

It is hoped that my level of happiness and appreciation for every last one of you who have selflessly helped us out is shown here because truly, my family and I are ecstatic. I will absolutely have to write a thank-you letter to everybody who has helped us out in this difficult time, as I truly never expected so much assistance from you dear readers and you are very clearly showing the new paradigm in action with your graciousness and generosity.  

Even if the bank was not to accept the offer (we are very strongly hoping they do) we are simply reeling knowing that you have all been so kind to assist us in our time of need. Truly, I will never be able to express my full appreciation and can only hope that the work I will continue to happily give can be offered up as thanks for the miracle you readers could have very well been instrumenal in bestowing upon us.

The bank that owns the house doesn’t seem to have rejected our offer entirely (the offer was several thousand less than they’re asking for it but it’s all we have) but they’ve asked that we increase the offer for it to be considered. It seems that the bank could very well consider taking our offer if it is increased, though they are wanting us to increase it by at least $3,000 which, while being a big number indeed, is still less than they were originally asking for the house.

Especially because of what has already been given, we truly don’t enjoy continuing to ask for financial assistance but if there is anybody out there who is in a decent financial situation and can offer assistance, it will be and is more appreciated than we could ever express with words, and I mean that with every bit of my heart.

We’re not expecting you dear readers to solely help us raise such a number, but we’ve learned before that miracles are more than possible and that anything can happen and as we are truly so close to actually and finally being able to get out on our own and stop Living with relatives, we are asking for contributions in hopes that somebody will be able to assist in any way possible. We certainly don’t yet have the funds the bank is asking for, but we’re continuing to keep our fingers crossed and we know that if this is meant to work out, than it truly will.
