A Familiar Face in the Aurora?

From http://www.nordlys.no/nyheter/article6500063.ece.

Thanks to reader Øystein.

Is it just coincidence that this possibly familiar face apparently appeared in the colourful Aurora above Norway on Wednesday, February 13 – the eve of Nova Earth Day (a.k.a. Valentine’s Day)?

This photo was taken by Norwegian Jack Lihaug from the town of Bø in Vesterålen on Wednesday night, a little after 8pm.

Jack posted it on Facebook and it was soon gaining comments such as “It looks like Jesus”.

He denies that photo editing or Photoshop has been used other than to adjust the colors.

We’ll leave it up to you to decide if the face in the sky is either familiar or real… but interesting nonetheless.

  1. Fantastic! Actually I see two faces, a bigger one looking to its right, that looks like Jesus, and a smaller feminine one that ends at the height of the nose of the first one! Can anyone see both?
