Obama grabs wide lead among those who have already voted: Reuters/Ipsos poll

(Reuters) – President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney are neck and neck in opinion polls, but there is one area in which the incumbent appears to have a big advantage: those who have already cast their ballots.
Obama leads Romney by 59 percent to 31 percent among early voters, according to Reuters/Ipsos polling data compiled in recent weeks.
The sample size of early voters is relatively small, but the Democrat’s margin is still well above the poll’s credibility interval – a measurement of polls’ accuracy – of 10 percentage points. (full graphic: bit.ly/RmeEen)
With the November 6 election just more than three weeks away, 7 percent of those surveyed said they had already voted either in person or by mail (full graphic: bit.ly/SWm5YR).
The online poll is another sign that early voting is likely to play a bigger role this year than in 2008, when roughly one in three voters cast a ballot before Election Day. Voting is already under way in some form in at least 40 states.

This lightens my heart a little, for despite some assertions that “there is no difference” between the two, or that voting doesn’t matter, or that it is more courageous to withdraw from voting and focus only on your own peace and enjoyment-it REALLY does make a difference.
For years we have been told this or that was about to happen any moment, and mocked for not trusting by those who feel themselves to be so ascended because they are not suffering.
But for those who live in 3rd world and 4th world situations, poisoned by mining and other pollution, subject to violence, war and radiation from the DU munitions our so called white hat military dumped on them, for those who have sick or dying children, who have no income, who are homeless, who are caregivers for the dying who have no money to hire help, for those who are themselves physically ill and being told they are simply not evolved enough or trying hard enough has only added to their suffering but not helped them to heal, for those who depend on foodstamps, veteran’s aid and medical care, ssi, medicaid, wic or other government help this election matters more than you may understand.
Perhaps this weeks round of “SOON” is more true than the last 65 or 70 weeks of soon.
Perhaps this time the world will magically improve overnight and the radiation will be gone, the pollution will be gone, the sick healed, and support for all in need will be provided from some source other than government help so all will prosper and be safe and healthy and happy.
No one would be happier or more relieved than I, I would dearly love to be wrong, as I wished I was about Libya. But so far my assessments have held true no matter how much I joined the masses in wishing, praying and working for the magical beautiful hoped for solutions to manifest sooner than “SOON”.
So if you think of that, what if this “SOON” is NOT different?
What if you don’t vote, you curl up in your personal coccoon and feel GREAT! but your joy and feeling of elevation do not rapidly spread the ascension benefits to everyone on Earth as we all hope they will?
It would be nice to be able to rely on the channelers who tell us Obama is assured to win, and the prosperity funds, disclosure and all the rest will be announced by him “SOON”. I hope they are right, but until I see it in action I’m going to keep adding to my meditations, to my prayers, my reiki, love, light and compassion, to my inner work on myself and my acts of kindness, love and support for others. I will be adding to those any ACTIONS I am capable of taking to assure that should the promises remain nothing but promises when January 20th 2013 arrives, at the very least the poorest, the sickest and most abused and desperate (thru no fault of their own) on this planet will not face any MORE added horrors like a war with Iran (and more DU), or starving when foodstamps are cut off, becoming homeless (or dying while already homeless) when ssi is removed as Romney has promised to do.
We will have at least the baseline we have now to work UP from, to keep making this world a better place, step by step, breath by breath, action by action the way it has been done so far.
Do not be afraid, be love and know that whether or not we get a magical boost of help in transforming our world, from the physics of the Universe, alien assistance, ascended masters, hidden prosperity funds/nesara etc we WILL transform this Earth to a world that works for everyone.
We will heal the land, the people and all living things. and we will ring in the end of the kali yuga, and the start of the promised golden age whether or not it is thru hard work or Grace.

Thank you for posting this! For those of us who have been working on many levels for so long, who see clearly how the physical is interconnected with the spiritual and how ascending with the physical means taking action in the physical while remaining non-attached and in unconditional love and compassion(easier to know than to do at ALL times!;-) this is a great comfort to see.
Whatever faults President Obama has, or wrongs he has done, he has been consistent in working to alleviate the suffering of the poor, the sick and those subject to wars. (With the glaring exception of the drone issue, which it now appears to have other elements driving it)
The POTUS does not have the power of a king or a dictator, tho some seem to think Pres Obama personally controls every minute detail of our government. But when the POTUS resists the cabals attempts to create more harm and suffering he at least has more of an effect immediately and directly on what happens than any of us do.
I am very grateful for this piece of news, that allows me to relax a bit and spend more of my energy on my own personal work, which I guess like most people, is always a work in progress;-)
