We often advise people to follow the path of joy, but sadly, many humans do not even know what brings them joy anymore. They have become so exhausted with the pressure of day to day life they have forgotten how to have fun. How do you figure out how brings you joy? You try lots of different things! Make laughter a priority in your life! Laughter cleanses your body and makes your cells sing and allows your light to shine. Be silly! Take your inner child out to play! Have fun with that innocence in the Now moment. See the wonder all around you. The beautiful planet you are on can still be your playground if you only give it a chance. ~Archangel Gabriel

In the older energies, darkness was required to help you define yourself, to create contrast so you could figure out who you really are. There is an easier way, you know. Inside of you, at your core, there is a part of you that always remembers your divine nature. If you simply commit to embracing that truth, to spending time in the Now and supporting your highest alignment, you will connect with the absolute knowingness of who you are and the fact that you are an honoured and valued part of the whole. The dark night of the soul is designed to get people to change, to reach for more. It serves a wonderful purpose. But, Dear Ones, you always have the option to move into your enlightenment, willingly, gracefully, joyously. It is as simple as finally accepting your divine nature and committing to remembering and supporting that truth. ~Archangel Gabriel

When you live your life unconsciously, you are in the illusion that you are powerless and out of control, that life is something that happens to you, and it can be very easy to feel victimized. The agenda of the enlightening human being, right now, is to move beyond centuries of victim consciousness and into the light of their authentic power. To do so, you must embrace your self awareness. Deep within you is your own unique internal guidance system. It is essential that you quiet yourself enough to connect with that inner guidance. Dear Ones, you are the pioneers, the trail blazers. You are creating the new pathways and the new way of doing things. No one else can tell you how to do that. Only you can find the way by listening to what that inner knowingness tells you and stepping into that authentic power. That is what you are here to do, and that is what will pave the way for the rest of humanity. ~Archangel Gabriel

Because you see, Dear Ones, you are always in charge and the universe has much it wishes to offer you, but you must be willing to receive. Are you still stuck in worthiness issues that keep you small and uncomfortable? Open your heart, open your life expression to all the gifts that are your birthright! One of the most loving things you can do for another is to stop attempting to “save” them and to allow them to make their own decisions and experience, fully, the consequences of their choices. By doing so, you are demonstrating your complete faith in them to step into their authentic power, as well as your complete faith in the universe to help them do it. Dear Ones, no one wants to see a baby just learning to walk fall down, yet you lovingly know it is part of their process. They cannot ever learn if you scoop them up and carry them about just to keep them safe. You understand that to do so would be to interfere with their natural growth process. Apply that same principle to all others on the planet. Honour their free will, anchor calm acceptance and encouragement, and know that each bump they experience takes them closer to their own mastery. ~Archangel Gabriel

Many people struggle with the idea of releasing things. They ask, “Gabriel, how do I release old thought patterns, old wounds?” They get stuck on finding the correct formula for release. They understand they can intend to do it, yet sometimes that doesn’t feel like they are doing enough, or the issue persists. Perhaps it would help to substitute the word ‘release’ with the word ‘surrender’. Release can feel like you are going it alone. Surrender, on the other hand, implies you are giving it to a greater power. When you surrender, you are actively working with the universe. You are stepping out of the resistance and doubt that has been keeping you stuck and stepping into your authentic power by using the endless assistance available to you.

Through surrender, you are activating the flow that will bring you exactly what you need for whatever growth and healing it is you seek. Dear Ones, there is no reason to do things the hard way. Give it up! Give it up and place it in the hands of Source! Say, “I don’t need this anymore. Do with it what you will.” Trust that by doing so, you have handled things the most empowered way possible. There is no end to what an enlightening human being can achieve through the simple acts of surrender and flow. ~Archangel Gabriel
