Guest: On this topic of accepting what is, I have a question. I see other people trying to avoid things they don’t want. So if it’s really all for the good, why do I avoid things I don’t want? If everything is well, as you say, then why would I avoid anything?
Well, there’s a question we can really sink ourselves into. Why would you avoid anything at all if it’s all good? So the first thing we will point out is that it’s not all good. That is, it’s not all something you want in your experience. So the more useful question has to be: Why would you avoid anything that is being attracted to you?
Is it because you have attracted things and experiences into your life before that you did not want? Perhaps before you became conscious creator? Yes? You have learned that thing about the other shoe dropping too, where when things have gone good for a time you anticipate, and thereby create, something going wrong. You have this whole field of learning that says “You are not the one in control.” And then you listen to your news and they tell you that Congress is in control, or the giant corporations are in control, or your parents are in control, and so on and so on.
If you would listen to us all day we would tell you that you are in control. And we would tell you there is this delay from the time you conceive of a thought and think upon it a while, and the time when it will actually arrive in your experience. But it is indeed coming and you did create it. You created it as a thought-form and it precipitated into your world at exactly the right time.
So now, once again: Why would you fear anything that comes to pass in your world?
Does it not also happen that sometimes that thing which you feared turned out to be exactly the thing that you needed? Is it not true that many times that thing that you feared, when it was finally able to run you down, leaves you better off than before? That was the gist of your question, really.
The difference is that you are conscious creator. And your world has always worked this way, except before you were not conscious of it, and therefore you came up with a lot of ideas and beliefs to fill in the gaps. Let go of those beliefs.
So your question is magnificent…add it to your list of questions to ask yourself periodically: As a conscious creator, why should I fear anything that is manifesting before me in my world?
Namaste,
Twelve

Ah… often in my experiences I’ve realized the things happening which I never wanted (or thought so) were exactly what I needed for my own spiritual growth… understanding the other side, perhaps… learning more fully well what is “not” of love (for me) yet the experience offering me immeasurable opportunity in really understanding the benefit of the unwanted experiences. Compassion, or let’s say… my Own perspective which I can offer to others in support in ways of helping “serve” as we are all muddling our way thru the dark/ugly to learn the value of the Light and Love. Once we make peace with the happenings, they loose power in being able to impact or “level” us, emotionally, physically, and we “can” gain greater spiritual strength if we “choose” to experience changing our Own values in recognizing it may not be light-filled… listening/learning, using the FEELING all experiences bring–the heart center–being the guage in registering joy and bliss, as once we travers the experience, finding we grow Out of it with our Own new insights… joy and bliss ARE available in helping Us to recognize the truly magnificant, powerful Beings we are. Life is a playground, with many lessons offered… and we are tested regarding which games we wish to play. None right or wrong, just opportunities to make choices for ourSelves.
Make any sense?!
~Love and Peace… doing all we can to exercise kindness as we learn to let go of judgement… opens doors to greater goodness. It may not feel like it when in the midst of difficult experiences, yet once beyond–looking back–the value of all can be regarded as priceless. What we carry in our hearts is our very Own–different in some ways than any other–and all for reason. Personally, each time something happens to rattle me, I try to first think/understand… “what is the lesson here for me”… take time to review my own thoughts and wishes which may have drawn the experience to me. As I do, I gain even greater insight into the power of creation/co-creation.
We are might Beings of Love… and with Love, all things are possible~
~Blessings
